Requirements for Eligibility and Employment

To ensure quality applicants are hired and retained by Med-Act, all applicants and current staff must meet and maintain the following requirements:

• be at least 18 years of age
  
• provide evidence of high school diploma, or equivalent
  
• provide evidence of certification as a Kansas Mobile Intensive Care Technician (Paramedic) or be registered as an EMT-Paramedic by the National Registry of EMTs.
  
• provide evidence of a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  
• have no psychological or physical impairments that would prevent completion of duties listed in job description
