Thank you for your interest in Johnson County MED-ACT. As the primary advanced life support provider for Johnson County, Kansas, MED-ACT is continually growing while maintaining focus on our purpose “Because of Med-Act, medical emergencies in Johnson County have the best possible outcome.” We work hard to ensure a continuum of out of hospital medical care and to create a prepared community which results in a community-wide feeling of safety and confidence.
The strong support of the citizens of Johnson County, the Board of County Commissioners, and the medical community has enabled us to aggressively pursue our mission. At MED-ACT, we are always striving to improve our care in a way that promotes the best possible outcomes for victims of accidents and medical emergencies. While we use top quality equipment to help us reach this goal, top quality personnel are our most important assets. Empathy, compassion, the ability to treat all others with dignity and understanding, and caring for people equally are qualities found in each of our EMS professionals.
