The Community Education Division is part of the Education Division of Med-Act. The main responsibilities of the Community Education Officer are to focus on developing new education programs, update existing programs, and represent Med-Act in a variety of forums. One goal for the Community Education Officer is to promote citizen bystander CPR and strive to improve the outcome for those individuals suffering from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
The Community Education Officer will work closely with the Public Information Officer/BLS Educator and the Battalion Chiefs of Training in the Education Division.
