The role of EMS personnel, based on their position desciptions, can be physically and emotionally demanding. In the course of carrying out their daily EMS responsibilities, employees may be pushed to their physical and emotional limits. At such times, a risk for injury or stress on the employee exists.
Administration
The EMS Chief holds the highest authority in the Med-Act organization and maintains the other functional departments in balance. The EMS Chief effectively delegates some of his authority and decision making by empowering the employees and forming formal workgroup teams of individuals.
